Molly Ann Torrance

Molly Ann Torrance, 76, died peacefully on Sunday December 1, 2024.

The eldest of eight children, Molly was born in Savannah to the late Charlie and Marie Rush. She graduated from Savannah Christian Preparatory School and was a homemaker. Molly was very artistic and loved creating art with her hands. She also enjoyed Dancing. Molly was a social butterfly; she never met a stranger. She always refused a handshake and went in for a hug.

In addition to her parents, Molly was predeceased by her siblings, Walter Rush, Michael Rush, and Kitty Ricks; a granddaughter, Kandace Torrance; and a son-in-law, Bryan Skrine.

Surviving are her five children, Walter “Rooster” Torrance, III; Tonia Mock, Trina Skrine, Kipper Torrance (Ronald Hall), and Johanna Torrance; four siblings, Raleigh Rush, David Rush, Sherry Hampton, and Elaine Stanfield,; nine grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 14, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
